$500 that Day
We needed to sell our house fast to buy our dream home in the country, so we called one of the We Buy Ugly Homes guys. He told us he’d get us cash in three weeks, and not to worry. As it turned out, he had no money, but was trying to make $20,000 selling our house to someone else without even buying it. No one would pay him that much, and the fine print in his contract stopped us from selling to anyone else for five weeks, which left us completely broke as the “buyer” kept making excuses.
One of our church friends introduced us to Chris, and he gave us $500 that day to help get us by, then paid for our hotel room for the last few days before the title cleared. We got our dream home out in the country, just in the nick of time!

Quick, Straightforward & Easy
Chris was honest and easygoing, and gave us a fair price for our house even though we needed to sell right away. Closing was fast and simple, and he let us stay an extra six weeks to have time to get our things together to move to Florida to be closer to family.

Cash in Hand the Next Week
Our house had been on the market for almost a year and was going nowhere fast. Other buyers got scared of the small size, odd location and major work needed. We were fed up with showing it again and again and getting no offers, or people asking for owner financing, which we could not afford. We took it off the MLS, called Chris, and had cash in hand the next week. He fixed all the things we couldn’t afford to, and turned our old family home into a great new house for a nice new family- we still go by and see them sometimes on Sunday afternoons.

Fair Deal, No Pressure
I lived in Asheville for 28 years and have bought and sold many properties. It seems like the typical “quick sale” cash buyers offer people about half of the actual value. I talked to a couple of them on the phone and one of them actually used fear tactics and rudeness in his sales pitch. The realtors I spoke with seemed to be looking for properties they could turn over immediately and aside from the large commission they wanted, they also underestimated the value.
My property needed major work and I knew it’d be hard for anyone to get a loan to buy it. It was a fixer-upper and its value was in what it could be. You saw the potential immediately and offered me a fair price. You were very considerate and helpful throughout the process. It was very quick, straightforward and easy.
In the end, it felt like a fair deal and that’s saying a lot when it comes real estate.
