Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the first step to sell my house fast for cash?
Fill out our handy contact info box, or give us a call to see if working together feels right and makes sense. No pressure, no commitment.
When will you come look at the house?
We’re quite busy these days, so if we can’t schedule a look the day you call, we will try our best to get there the next day.
What are you looking for when you come to look at the house?
Primarily whether we will enjoy working together and both feel comfortable with the purchase. Then, any features that add value and allow us to make you a stronger offer, or any problems that will limit our ability to rent or re-sell. If we find ourselves close to agreement, we will also do a highly detailed inspection that day to offer you as much as we can without getting ourselves in trouble.
When will I get paid?
We put $500 in your hand the day we sign, requiring only verification of identity and clear ownership of the house. (Preliminary title search takes four to six hours).
The full balance will be in your hand, via cashier’s check or wire transfer, within ten days unless we agree in advance on another timeframe.
Do I have to pay for realtor fees or hire a lawyer?
No, and no. Since we are a cash home buyer, we do not charge any fees, and can even help with closing costs. We manage the process from start to finish the same way a Realtor would, but without the indecision, hassle and fees. We provide the contract, inspections, legal services, and everything else needed to smoothly and securely close the deal and sell your house for cash as soon as possible.
Do I have to clean up or fix anything?
Not at all. Part of the service we offer as a cash buyer is buying your house just like it is, and taking care of any cleanup or problems.
Do I have to move out? If so when?
We can arrange for you to stay up to three months while you shop for another home, with cash in hand. We do hold back a portion of the sales price as a deposit. We can also rent long-term directly to you, so you can sell your home and still live in it – so why not have your cake and eat it too?
Do you have other options for places for me to live?
Most of our properties move fairly quickly, but we often have one for sale, and have several rental homes which we can rent or sell, often as a cash-plus-trade for your house.
Does Asheville Fast Cash do short sales?
Not yet. Banks are very unpredictable and difficult to deal with. We can refer you to other investors who handle these.
Can I owner finance and keep collecting a check every month?
Absolutely. We pay a premium for owner finance, whether short-term while we “fix and flip” or long-term as we fix, then rent.
